Is KAATSU dangerous?

When KAATSU is performed correctly with the proper equipment by a certified KAATSU instructor, it is both safe and appropriate to execute.

The time it takes to see results from KAATSU Fitness can vary from person to person, depending on factors such as training level, training intensity, body response, and goals. If you train an average of 2-3 sessions per week, you can expect to see some initial changes within a few weeks. You should see a significant improvement of around 10% in strength after as few as 10-15 sessions if the training is done 3-5 times a week, once a day.

After the first few workouts, you can expect to experience increased soreness, although this varies depending on your training history.

No, KAATSU alters blood flow patterns. KAATSU does NOT stop blood supply.

The main difference between occlusion training and KAATSU is that occlusion training completely stops blood flow, whereas KAATSU merely modifies blood flow patterns. This means that there is always blood flow when using KAATSU bands, which is also why KAATSU is considered safer.
